About Friends of St. Peter's (FOSP)
For the past 171 years, St. Peter’s has existed on the educational map of the Country,
witnessing many historic events and changes that have taken place from time to time. The
journey of 171 years has been a long one. Thus St. Peter’s has not only lived with history
but it has made history of sorts.
The seed sown in 1846 has grown and groomed into a tree which bears fruits every
year and these fruits travel across the globe as our alumni, thus spreading love and
cultivating the values their Alma Mater has imbibed in them. The flavour, moral values and
the nostalgia binds them to the foundations and carries with them from the roots to all the
paths they travel.
The alumni of St. Peter’s are spread across the length and breadth of the Country and
overseas. They have reached higher echelons of society and have adorned responsible as
well as difficult positions. Wherever they have been, they have lived up to the motto of the
College, Palma Non Sine Pulvere, ie. no victory without struggle (no reward without efforts).
I write this note to inform you about the formation of Friends Of St. Peter’s
(FOSP), which will help the alumni to maintain a good rapport with their Alma Mater. In
addition to this, it will also act as a link between the ex-students and the College.
Friends of St. Peter’s shall offer our former students a platform to network among
themselves, co-ordinate and share ideas for the uplift of St. Peter’s, providing a global
exposure to its present students and a world-wide, universal recognition of the Institution.
Let us all work in tandem and contribute our mite to make St. Peter’s a world-class
institution. We look forward to your response in this regards at the earliest.
